Form EX-28: Transitional provision 2 (RD 1155/2024)

EX-28 — Transitional provision 2 (RD 1155/2024). Application under the second transitional provision of the 2024 Regulation, for situations carried over from the previous regulation.

In Aproba you choose it from the file's form selector: it is not tied to any service of the default catalogue, so you generate it for whatever procedure you have set up in Ajustes (Settings). The details come from the client's record all the same.

What Aproba fills in on this form

• The foreign national's details, read from their validated documents: full name, document, date and place of birth, nationality, address and phone.
• The place and date line on page 2: it is not filled in by itself, but it comes as fields to type in the PDF itself, where many firms used to end up writing by hand.
• The block of the firm that submits it («datos del representante a efectos de presentación de la solicitud»), with your firm's details and those of the person who signs.

What Aproba leaves blank on purpose

Two boxes are not filled in by themselves, and it is a decision, not an oversight. «Representante legal, en su caso» in section 1 is for the legal representative of the foreign national — the father, the mother or the guardian of a minor —, not for the firm: putting yourself there is a common mistake. And «Domicilio a efectos de notificaciones» (address for notifications) decides who receives the file's notifications, with the deadlines that come with them: you decide that one, case by case.
